The redesign is a definite improvement. Exact fit to the one I had that broke at the pivot. My new one came with a pivot axis screw that was 1/8" short of engaging the nyloc lock nut nylon. So I just installed a new that I cut to the correct length. Not big deal for my self but then again I'm a Union Tradesman.
