Great 5B drumstick with slip resistant coating helps drummer keep control and hold on to stick as you play. Excellent choice as heat continues to rise while you continue to play without your stick sliding toward the tip.

Vic Firth drum stick are excellent at holding your grip on the sticks I’ve personally had trouble on holding especially when practicing at home in the cold weather these seem to help me personally would recommend

These Vic Firth American Classic 5B - VIC GRIP, are the first set of "GRIP" sticks I've had in my hands, and OUCH!I was not ready for the grip. I started warm-up exercises with 5-stroke rolls and about 30 min in, I had an open blister on my right index finger. I had to change my tightness of grip.There is no dropping this stick.I like this stick after all is said and done. I will keep at it and try other brands to compare the "GRIP."

Only reason I give them a 4 is the grip lasted maybe a week before it started to tear and come apart. Which is fine if you only play acoustic, because your sticks get thrashed in a week but if you play/practice on an e-kit they should be expected to last longer then a week. So if you play hard on an acoustic kit get these, if you’re buying to have a grippy pair to last then you choose.

I purchased these for our grandson who is taking drum lessons. Hudson started out learning drums under Daniel who now plays with For King and Country. Our grandson is quite the drummer. He specifically asked for these drum sticks and thanked us so much for giving him these for Christmas.

These sticks are nice and durable. They feel great spinning as well. However, they snag on your pants and bring on big blisters, since they don’t slide. Being a pro drummer, I wanted something that looked cool and felt good, sooo...still searching...

Great sticks but the tips have a tendency to chip. I don't like nylon tips, but I also don't like tips that chip. They create inconsistent cymbal tones.

These drumsticks came quickly and seemed good quality. I was a little worried because I was buying for a drummer who buys all his own stuff, but he picked up these and immediately started drumming...a good sign. I think he liked them. The others from Sam Ash I bought were delivered and were the wrong ones...so he really liked the ones from Vic Firth.
