Works pretty well. It seems to hold a decent amount of weight, at least it hasn't collapsed or moved with a decent load on it. Overall it is a good addition to your desk to offload gear or store less used items.

I started using a mobile desk for my work station and this was the perfect addition to it! I get some extra storage and it's super versatile to have (literally on my left as I type this) for organizing random things on my small mobile desk that spill over. You can configure it in different ways too as in the direction of the clamp as well as the direction of the surfaces.

This table’s design offers a variety of directional options for each shelf. I have only positive feelings about this clamp style mount two shelf table. That said, I feel quite differently about the assembly process.To begin, I will say I lack an understanding of an apparent trend with the inclusion of an Allen wrench and screws that work only with a hexagon Allen wrench. Now maybe if the Allen wrench were bigger and had a comfortable handle, I could feel better about the currently forced, and quite awful, use of a teeny-tiny Allen wrench that is somewhat slippery. Providing me a free assembly tool is no true help when it is just barely over 2” in total length. It hurts my hands to use an Allen wrench near the end of insertion of the screw when it is more difficult to turn. I own a nice collection of screwdrivers that I like using, which are far more comfortable to use. Further, where the “L” shape of your included assembly tool absolutely prevents a 360 degree access (because the table part prohibits this) and so there is no option but to insert it, take a bit less than half of a full turn, then pull out and reposition, insert again, turn less than half a full turn, pull out and reposition…you get the idea. A standard screwdriver would not present this same annoyance during an assembly process that would take much less time without those hex head screws. Now considering how many turns are required for full insertion, and how many screws are included…and this does not include all of the times I dropped the teeny-tiny wrench, the feeling I was left with does nothing positive for your product.To be very clear, by the time I had to pick up the slippery wrench a third time, I began wishing I have never requested this item in the first place. Eventually the assembly was completed, my hands hurt by then and never mind I installed one shelf upside down…I love this handy clamp-on side table with 2 shelves and am certain once assembly is complete, any owner will also love theirs.

This is a two-tier shelving unit that clamps onto the side of almost any table. There are four configuration options and this will give you a lot of extra desk space. This is easy to assemble and use! I got this shelving unit to help alleviate some of my desk crowding. It works great! I was able to declutter an entire corner of my desk and reclaim the space! I love all four configurations and can see a future use for the same unit in other places in my house, so I might be back for more! This shelving unit is made sturdy and is excellent quality!

This is a nice shelving unit to add a bit of extra space to a desk or drafting table. It is well built and solid. However you really need to follow the instructions carefully and pay attention to the orientation of the shelves because it's easy to accidentally switch orientations. I did and can say it was fairly easy to disassemble and reassemble in the orientation I was looking for.

I have become addicted to clamp on desk additions. Why were these not more prevalent before, the clamp system has been around for ages. In any case, this did not work for me. The intended desk as a metal frame underneath that makes the overall thickness too great for these clamps. That's on me, I didn't even consider that possibility, so I didn't notice the listed 1.8" max thickness. So, please measure your desk at the intended installation point. Mine was literally 1/8" too thick. I can tell you that this is well made and will clearly be very sturdy when installed. I do think the price might be a bit steep though at 49.99 at the time of this writing.

This took me all of 5 mins to put together and was very easy to assemble in multiple configurations. The clamps are strong and sturdy. You DO need an overhang of about 2 inches on your desk or table in order to clamp this on, but otherwise a really great shelf!
