This item fit perfectly into our Kenmore dishwasher. It looked much sturdier that the drain pump from the factory that failed after four years of a single woman's use. Would recommend and easy to install after watching a you tube video.

My KitchenAid KUDIO2FRSS2 dishwasher was not draining completely. At the end of the cycle, it still had a couple of inches of water in the bottom. I had the same problem with a different KitchenAid dishwasher about 2 months ago. I ordered this replacement water pump and it was a perfect fit. The photos attached to this review are of my old pump after removing it. It had the numbers 8565839 on it. It's a simple job. I strongly recommend going on to YouTube where you will find several videos of the procedure, but here are step-by-step instructions:1. Shut off the water and electric to it.2. Unscrew the water line from the faucet with a small adjustable wrench.3. Unscrew the screws holding the dishwasher in under the counter. Then pull the dishwasher out from under the counter.4. Lay down a large towel to the LEFT of the dishwasher and carefully lower the unit down onto its left side. This will give you easy access to the water pump which sits close to the right front corner.5. Release the pressure clamp on the large hose that goes to the pump by squeezing the clamp with a pair of pliers or RoboGrips.6. Unplug the small wire harness from the pump by carefully popping it off with a small screwdriver, pushing away from the harness gently.7. Turn the old pump counter-clockwise while compressing the two rounded plastic "fins" on the back bottom of the pump assembly you see in the first attached photo. The old pump will then come out completely.8. Install the new pump by doing everything in reverse.Congratulations! You just save hundreds of dollars on a service call or about $1,200 on a new KitchenAid dishwasher!
