I had this in my cart a long time before purchasing it because of the price. I'm glad I finally bought it. I like egg wedges for salads and garnishes better than egg slices. Cutting 6 wedges by hand is hard. It's easy to cut 4 pieces, but not 6. This is metal and sturdy, so I expect it to last a lot longer than the cheapo plastic egg slicers with easily bendable wires.Anyway, it makes very attractive 1/6 of an egg wedges.

I love this egg slicer. Didn't really know if it was a necessary tool to have but once I received it I wondered why I had waited so long to order it. I've only used it on eggs so far but it's easy, does a great job and cleans well.

Years ago I worked in a restaurant that had these great egg wedgers. I hadn't been able to find one that was similarly sturdy and well-made, until I got this Wedgemark one. It's well-made, solid, and works as well as those older ones we used in the restaurant. I highly recommend.

I would have given this 5 stars but didn't because to keep this in the closed position you need to slide the provided plastic ban over the two haves.I had one just like this one for years that had a little locking switch at the end.

I have now had this for awhile and love it. It is strong (how hard is it to cut a hardboiled egg - I know) but to cut it cleanly and precisely is the difference. This is extreemly well made = it just feels so nice to use great tools! I hand wash - takes a few seconds - super easy - and set to dry.

Favourite tools for wedges eggs cutter... must have for chef and cook for easy job :) however slightly comment on the gadjet it self because there is a pin in between have to improved because its easy drop out

Le coupe oeuf est juste parfait, il tranche en un coup de main les oeufs durs en quartiers. C'est le moins cher que j'ai pu trouvé sur internet car ce type de trancheur est uniquement vendu par des boutiques de cuisines professionnels. Je n'en ai pas trouvé dans les grandes surfaces, on trouve que ceux qui coupent des tranches mais ils ont tendance à détruire les oeufs plutôt que de les couper . Ravie de ma commande.

Having spent many years searching for the perfect egg slicer, I have now found it! Numerous slicers with metal wires have come and gone, ending up in the bin, broken. This sturdy metal gadget is easy to hold and simple to use. The metal slicing part cuts evenly into 6 pieces, and doesn't require much pressure to push closed. Perfect results every time!
