got this for a cheap ibanez gio that has a wizard neck that i love the action on.. so a stripped it and painted it and added this pick up and it is awesome. like others have said ,it reminds me of a sd jb series but then when I was adjusting it ,I had it out a little far and it really feeds back and sustains like a sustainiac that is in my schector c-1 platinum . and the cleans are crisp too. will be putting in a couple more guitars that can use upgrades. next step- grover tuners!

If you have a cheap guitar you wanna improve, these are amazing. If you’re putting them against something more established, it’s got no power at all. Save up a little, buy a super destroyer and go on with your life knowing you made a good decision for 60$ more

I installed this as a single humbucker in a custom built strat baritone guitar. This sounds pretty sweet with my tube amps, has a lot of clarity and decent midrange punch that compliments the baritone in B tuning

Just for context I have played guitar for over 20 years and have setup and modified my guitar for at least the last 10 years. I also worked at a custom shop for 5 years, so I am usually very critical of guitar gear.I have to say this pickup was a pleasant surprise. I bought it because the cream matches my guitar and I just wanted a working pickup to swap out for the microphonic pickup in a guitar I purchased. This was more of a stop gap solution and I figured I would eventually take this out for another. After about a week of really playing a lot solo, in my band, and even recording I can say that I have no need to upgrade this pickup. It produces a nice midrange growl but, still have a open sound when you dial in the gain just right. I cannot wait to play a show with this pickup and really test the feedback because so far it has been silent.

I was worried that the pups would be high output but they blend perfectly with my current single coil set. Affordable price tag the quality isn’t cheap. Highly recommended!

Ist ganz gut ! Klingt aber doch schon härter als pur Vintage. Eher eine Mischung aus in Richtung Keramik Magnete und Vintage, aber eine gute Mischung. Ist ja auch Geschmackssache. Ich persönlich finde ihn gut.Der Pickup deckt mehrere Genre ab und es kommt ja auch darauf an in welche Gitarre er eingebaut wird und was für Potis und Kondensatoren mit im Spiel sind. Und an was für einem Verstärker man spielt.

I can't believe it's not 🤔 expensive?? Sounds like a Duncan JB I recently had in the red squier contemporary. I paid 90 for the Duncan which is a good pickup but just wasn't working for me. This has the good character of the Duncan JB but a lot more smooth gain on tap, built well sounds great. This and my oripure pickups are low price pickups that don't know they are low price both are great that I would more than recognized for anyone to try be it beginner or touring pro. Excellent pup and excellent price. Much appreciated Trev Wilkinson, mucho appreciated

I am totally blown away by this pickup. I own vintage 70s Gibson Tarbacks & 80s Tim Shaw PAFs and at a fraction of the price of those I am happy to report that this Wilkinson Humbucker is absolutely amazing and the best value for money anywhere, bar none. I installed it into a Duo-Sonic HSS and I simply can't put the guitar down. Anyone in the market for a Humbucker should really check these out before dumping a bunch of hard-earned cash into a name brand one. I am glad I took the chance on these first. No need spend 3-10x more on a name brand. I'll put these against any Humbucker on the market, but hey, you be the judge. It won't break the bank.
