This is an incredible smashula! It's nice and heavy and offers a great ability to smash a burger on a griddle. Nice and affordable compared to alternative products.

Very nice and big. Great for smash burgers. Could also double as a press for bacon/sausage/burgers.Has a full tang under the handle. Has some weight to it. I personally wish they had a fibrox type handle, but if wood is your thing these Winco metal utensil's are among the heaviest duty of the several brands I've tried. Now if they don't rust or mess up the wood handle in the dishwasher they will be a top contender.

This item is very sturdy, perfect for smashing burgers (and flipping them and anything else that needs flipping on the hotplate, bacon, hash-browns, mushrooms, bananas etc. :)). Bought it for my husband and he loves it.

This is a very sturdy spatula and very effective for Oklahoma Onion Burgers that require using a spatula to compress the meat patty. The spatula is very sturdy, handles appear to be thru-riveted through the tang so it's not likely the handles will fall off. The spatula itself is heavy gauge stainless steel of one piece and the spatula part has beveled edges around the front 3 sides of the spatula itself, making it very easy to slide under a patty or whatever else you may have on the cooking surface. The corners are nicely rounded off to make it less likely to scratch your cooking surface. I'm very pleased with the purchase and I don't think I'll be experiencing some of the issues others complained about such as bending of the handle when flattening patties or handles falling off, when I was reading reviews of competing brands. The pictures were taken in front of a 1 gallon water bottle for perspective.

Best flipper for smash burgers I’ve tried. I’ve tried several over the years and this beast is by far the best.

I had been wanting to make Smashburgers and finally decided to buy this turner. It works really well and made my first time making Smashburgers a complete success. The first thing I noticed was that this thing is heavy duty and very sturdy. It is very large and gives you plenty of surface area to smash those balls of ground beef to make perfect Smashburgers. Another nice feature is the end is slanted which allows you to scrape under the burger to get all the brown, beefy goodness which makes Smashburgers so delicious. One thing I recommend is to use a piece of Parchment Paper when smashing the burger because the meat tends to stick to the Turner sometimes. Overall, I am very please with this.

I bought a Blackstone Griddle recently, wanting to get into the whole flat top scene. I bought the 9 piece Leonyo kit and they are pretty good for general use, but for Oklahoma onion burgers or smash burgers, their large spatula was lacking in the stiffness department, a little thin and bendy. This one though, is the real deal at a great price. 3 rivets in the finer wood handle. Perfect size and stiff thickness for smashing burger balls. Very impressed, just what I was looking for, ordering another.

Almost perfect for smashburgers. I looked at a lot of products for my smashburgers and ended up with this, and it is perfect for my needs! Let me explain. I make smashburgers 1-2 times per month for a small group and wanted a multi-use tool. What is great about it:It is big and heavy duty! Thick metal that does not bend. The size is great for patties larger than the bun.It has a smooth surface. Many of these types of tools have holes or designs in them. When smashing, meat squeezes through these holes and makes sliding the spatula off the patty hard.No lip or edge. This allows me to make the patty as thin and lacey as I can get it.Why it is not perfect. The handle could use some refining/sanding.Because of the length this works best if you use another tool to push down on the spatula when smashing. It is strong enough to just muscle it using the handle but, If I did smashburgers daily/weekly I would consider a tool with the handle on top for better leverage. I wanted a tool that has multiple uses on the griddle/flattop. So this is perfect for me.

The art of cooking is to make food taste good. Having the right tools is one step closer to that goal. Even though this spatula is made off shore,it is heavy, well made, beveled edges and works well in a 10 inch skillet. The real deal as it easily lifts that perfect smash paddy off your cooking surface with that beautiful browned crust in tact. I also purchased this as a smashburger duo...Wener Bacon Press 6.88-Inch Round,Heavy-Duty Cast Iron Grill Press....A match made in heaven.
