I'm an adult that purchased this for a pioneer trek re-enactment. I thought it fit when I tried it on. However, I got to the trek and it didn't keep the sun out of my eyes the way it was sitting. Thank goodness my husband had brought 2 different men's hats and I ended up using his because this bonnet did not function how I needed it to.
