These clamps slide off the 1/2 inch pipe with ease. Even after adding multiple layers of painters, tape to the pipes, the clamps do not stay in place. From the six I bought, only one works properly.

Bought some black industrial piping that was pre-threaded for these clamps and the two pair perfectly together. I would definitely buy again.

I returned these because they're just too hard and annoying to operate. The mechanism that locks them in position on the pipe is a stack of 3 stamped steel plates. They're sharp and they have a lot of wiggle room between the housing they're supposed to glide between. After one frustrating glue up session I was over it. They could probably be debarred and you could live with it, but my room for clamps is limited and I'll be putting better clamps in their place

I bought these fully expecting to have issues and I was not disappointed. From the four pack I needed to remove one locking spring for these to be adjustable and still lock. I found this out after they would just get wedged and require force to remove. There was one of the four that is so poorly cast that it just will not fit the pipe even without the locking springs, this one will need to be ground down to fit. As I said, issues were expected and I was met with such, once I have to forth clamp ready I will put them to the test. This review only covers pre use.

Im from Peru, and some specialty woodworking tools are not easy to find, these kind of clamps, although simple, are extremely hard to find, the materials and roughness of these clamps seems great, i did not expect top quality iron or something but these clamps loocks actually pretty reliable, im gonna order another set in the months to come, but right now im able to glue full sized tables without expending a lot of money in clamps, because, as some might imagine, long clamps are also difficult and really expensive locally, i believe a lot of people will find these clamps , as i do, as the best quality/price ratio possible choice. Arrived in Peru less than a week after placing the order
