Check product integrity before installation

Remove dust and dirt from Engine Case
Step 3
Apply RTV adhesive we provided to make the product bond firmly
After fixing the Guards, fix them with tape for about 24 hours

Great value product from Xitomer. Xitomer can be hit, miss, or meh. This one's a hit. It's two pieces of metal and some adhesive. Save some $$$ and buy this.

Comes with way more rtv than you need in a resealable tube. They look good, fit well and add a bit of protection

Color of paint a negative as not matching bike case. Not fit flush on edges so expect they will get snagged at some point and pull off. However, buy cheap you get cheap.

I fitted these about a year ago with the included RTV. They fit good, and RTV has held perfectly. They definitely saved my engine case when I laid my dr650 down and bent the shifter into case cover. Way affordable than other brands, and comes with RTV. I chose black colored.

Xitomer makes decent products for the DR650; these case guards are no exception. Made from aluminum and they fit perfect. My main goal is to prevent that shift lever from breaking the left side case if it falls over. These are definitely thick enough to provide protection. I’ll install the right side too but it almost serves no purpose since the right case not in jeopardy. Comes with silicon adhesive to mount which works well and allows precise placement . My only gripe is the finish; I chose silver thinking it was actually bare aluminum buts it’s painted silver that looks kind of funny, black would have been a better choice. At this low price it’s worth removing the paint to get brushed aluminum look or simply repaint them, I sprayed mine machine gray and I’m happy now. Great fit and about 1/3rd the cost of name brand covers!
