I like this, I have a 2 port air pump and I had to slow down the 2nd bubbler with a valve to force air to this stone. I like the way it mounts and the micro bubbles that it adds. I am thinking of buying a larger air pump to help add some more micro bubbles. I did soak this for an hour or so before adding to the aquarium

The multi piece pole is sturdy and can be used on deep tanks. The blades are very thin but work ok,my biggest problem is the design.Instead of thumb screws it has tiny screws which must be removed with a tiny screw driver (supplied)The screws are easily lost. The pad is very thin foam not sure what purpose it serves, and once it is worn there is no replacement.Over all not bad but not great.

This is definitely a must for cleaning your tank. the scrapper alone was so useful to remove green spot algae. it is expensive, but it has different attachments to use so there is that. The handle and pole are made out of metal and so far no rust is seen on it. It will not float if you set it in your tank.

Did its job. Like other people said, getting the angle right can be tricky because it just rotates, you can't lock the angle in place, it just holds itself. So when you scrape the glass you can't apply too much pressure otherwise it bends straight or backwards. But it does work pretty well. For being a long, thin rod it has pretty good grip and it's not flimsy. The blade is very thin but it scraped off thick algae with a couple passes. You kinda have to use a scrubbing back and fourth method rather than a smoothe scraping to get off thick algae. I haven't used the sponge scrubber or net but they look handy. Here's a couple before and after photos of how well it did. I have an old, rough glass tank with lots of scratches and it still took the algae off quite well. I'd definitely buy it again but it looks like it's going to last a long while.
