I like strong coffee and this does the job. I have other Moka pots they are small. This on is larger and I like the red color. I have used this quite a few times and seems to work great .I like the paper filter it came with also.

I couldn't afford a fancy espresso machine but I've heard great things about moka pots. I was thrilled to give this a try. I'm not well versed on them, and in case you aren't, I recommend watching some videos online that may help make the visualization process easier. But that aside, I found the pot easy to use. There are many people in my house, so this small stovetop pot was perfect for my husband and I. I don't like sitting and drinking a large coffee, so an espresso is just what I needed. I love the attention to detail with the handle being made of wood, as I don't have to worry about burning my hand when picking it up and pouring. I found it easy to use and easy to clean and I really don't envy those big machines anymore. I hear these are popular amongst college age people and Italian people alike. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me!

This moka coffee pot makes delicious coffee. It is simple to use, and it works well on a gas stovetop. It makes 6 cups of espresso coffee, but I use it to make regular coffee, too. It makes the coffee taste more rich. It is very easy to clean with just water. Do not use soap. The handles are easy to grip. My only advice is to avoid holding the handle near the top when pouring hot coffee because steam leaks from that area and can burn fingers.

This is a generic aluminum moka pot that holds about 250 ml/1 cup of coffee. Keep in mind that if you make espresso in yours, you'll have a nice deep Americano. The moka is my preferred method of coffee prep and I believe there is an art to coffee, so good to experiment with different modes of preparation to discover your perfect home brew.I buy Starbucks Espresso, French or Verona on Amazon Subscribe and Save to use with this pot and get cafe-quality at home. If you like flat whites, lattes, capps and such, it's simple to steam/froth your milk/cream/MCT and pour your shot from this pot.I like that it's modelled after Bialetti, Alessi and Groesche designs with its heatproof handle and knob, so Euro design is available at an accessible price point.I'm giving this a four because I prefer a stainless steel moka pot over aluminum for health reasons, so out of the many moka pots I've owned over the years, this one goes into my camp stove box for occasional use. I love pulling off on highway drives and enjoying a cup of moka coffee on the camp stove, when I find a beautiful new view. This is a handwash item - if you've ever stuck an aluminum moka pot into the dishwasher, you know that sinking heart feeling of seeing the nice finish permanently destroyed by the heat. I handwash and it's fine, even with the hottest tap water and final dip in hot water and vinegar to sanitize and cut any remaining traces of coffee bean oil.

Great when you can't afford a nice espresso machine. Watched some tutorials online and read some stuff on forums about moka pots. Works great. Still getting the hang of it. I think I could be better at this if I keep this up. It looks great and the color is nice. Material is strong and sturdy and fairly easy to wash.

I failed to look closely and see these are espresso cups so this is rather small if you get a 6 cup. So I had to return this but it was cute and I like the wooden handle.

Got this as a present for my sister. She recently got into making coffee, and I wanted to put together a little kit for her.She seems very happy with it, which is great! But I did decide to test it out before sending it to her to make sure it works.Right off the bat, I was a little let down by how cheap some of the components look.We both really like the color! And the design on the handle isn't bad, but it does look cheap. So do some of the other parts (like the silver band around the middle).I worry that this isn't going to hold up over time.Something that also concerns me is the abundance of foreign-made, lead-containing products that have been flooding the states recently. With something like this in particular, which involves cooking or brewing something that you will be eating or imbibing, I really wish I had a kit to test for lead.I might get one and start making that a regular part of these vine reviews soon.It does make coffee as expected. And the included filters are a nice extra. Most of the other off-brand moka pots are $5-10 cheaper. But I think this one is going for a more aesthetically-pleasing appearance.I just don't know if that justifies the higher price tag, especially given how some of the components aren't so nice to look at.At only $15 more, I think I'd recommend going for the same sized Bialetti.

This is my first Moka pot. I have French Press / pour over / funnel with stand / and Turkish Coffee pots already, but had never used a Moka pot.I had avoided them due to them looking complex, but that was a nonsense idea. It is super easy to use. I got the red one to match many other items in my kitchen. What I did not realize is that this pot makes expresso, so a much smaller amount, but also powerful. I am still playing with which coffee to use as some are simply better with the French Press; but I can also use this then mix hot water in. Fascinating possibilities and I am really enjoying the process.Back to quality: it is Aluminum. Nice for lightweight and cost. If I start using it a lot I will consider getting another, more expensive design. But honestly I have had no issues with this. It cleans up super easy and well. The screw on top has no bind issues, great tolerances with no looseness. The paint is vivid, and thick (no chipping through numerous uses). The hinge works. No issues at all. It has been great!
