I used the pen all weekend. Works well to keep seams open. I was surprised that the pen was empty. Price should have been lower.

I use this with Best Press applied to the folds of my quilt seams as I finish pieces for a block. Very handy as I don't have to spray Best Press on and thereby use more than I need. I apply it only to the fold. The pin nib is large enough, the pen functions as it should.

If you are working with any cotton other than batik, this a good deal...no more recalcitrant cottons that won't take a crease and lay flat. Recommend!

This product is amazing. I usually use a small paintbrush and "paint" Best Press onto my seams. Once you prime it, this pen is wonderful and makes pressing much faster!

I did not need glue, only piecing solution, so I didn't want to buy the starter kit. I bought this thinking it was all I needed. Unfortunately, it does not include fluid. $15 for an empty plastic tube is exorbitant.
