They feel to be strong enough for the job I need them for and will update this once the winter is over. The design should match my boat quite well which is a bonus.

Well, there was a small issue, where we only received one cleat and there was supposed to be two, but it was pleasantly resolved, customer care was superb and they are perfect, just what my husband needed for his sailboat!!

They are probably fine, but I returned them for some that were solid metal.
