Actually,, though Dramm makes great garden products, this is no better than other eggtimer faucet valves I've used. But you get a color choice, so there's that.

I have four and love them. They're simple to use and help to save water as you can set them for watering however long you want (up to 2 hrs) and forget it. Set it and forget it, whereas before it was just forget it and then 6 hours later you realize you forgot to turn the water off. I had a fairly new one that, for some reason, broke, but I like them enough that I replaced it with another. It's critical that they be drained for winter storage, or keep them where they won't freeze.

It is not a difficult device to use, the problem is it does not stop the water flow once the timer runs down.

These are so handy I wish I had known about them a long time ago. I originally bought 1, and it worked so well, I now have six of them. I use them on faucet manifolds, with multiple hoses attached. I purposely bought different colors so I know at a glance which plants/plant groups I'm going to be watering.I don't have any electricity near my faucets, and battery operated timers just haven't worked for me - the batteries run out, and then my plants don't get watered. With these, I just turn the dial to the time I want, and then I can forget about it. Previous to this, I either forgot to turn the water off (sometimes for days) or I asked my automated home assistant (Alexa) to remind me to turn it off. But, of course, if I was in the middle of something and didn't turn it off right away, I would STILL forget.Love being able to have it turn off automatically, and I can set whatever time seems to be appropriate for the weather.

Simple, easy to use water timer that does not require batteries or complicated settings. Turn the dial to the amount of time for watering and it switches the water off when it's done.

I bought 3 of the Dramm Premium Water Timers. They are cheaply made -- junk in my opinion. When I carefully tried to attach one timer to a hose, the threads would not easily mesh. As a result, the threads stripped, thereby making the timer leaky and useless. On the second one, the female threaded swivel attachment at the top (where it attaches to a faucet) blew out with the relatively little water pressure when the hose nozzle was turned off. This swivel part cannot be reattached to the timer. I have one left and an coddling it, with the expectation that it too will fail. I would never recommend this time to anyone.

This is not a bad product at all, it does what it's supposed to do. It's affordable, which makes it easy to replace when it goes out. I ordered 2, one I had to RMA because it basically exploded when I turned the water on and pressure built up in the timer. As a new home owner, I am not accustomed to watering the yard. I ended up leaving the water on all night one evening and quickly ordered these guys. They aren't a bad product, but the definitely aren't something that will be around for a couple years. As other reviewers have said, the sticker on the front comes of pretty quick. I also suggest getting some of your own rubber washers for this to prevent the slow drip that occurs.

This product works great. I have not had any problems with leaking or spraying at my home. In fact, I installed it on a faucet that has a small drip, and it is able to contain that drip.Pros:* The timer turns easily to any time from a few minutes up to two hours.* If you turn it past "0", it will remain on until you choose to turn it off.Cons:* It effectively "lowers" your faucet nozzle about 4 inches.Uncertain:* Will the plastic construction last over the long term?**********In a different experience category, I had trouble with my order. It seems that some of the colors are more in stock than others. When I first found one, I ended up switching colors, but did not notice that it was out of stock. Instead of being shipped 2-day via amazon Prime, it was going to take a week or more.I had already completed the order, but after a phone call, amazon changed the order to the blue color.**********Final Thoughts:I like this product. It works, and it keeps good time, just make sure that the one you order is in stock.
