This lens doesn't have infinity focus like the one with a glass in it. I knew that when purchasing it. I love macrophotography since college days and found that I can take old lenses and make really interesting photos with adapter rings. So it works the way I intended.This experiment did have a little interesting find. I took a fixed focus vintage lens that I thought was for an enlarger. I adapted it to the digital camera and found that I had to get further away to get any focus with this lens. I took a picture of a doll.

My lens is essentially macro because the flange distance isnt correct...

This adapter for screw-mount Leica lenses was cut well, and fit my lenses. The mount itself was good, and I acn focus to infinity with this adapter. One caveat: do NOT overtighten lens on this or any other lens adapter!

Just a heads up, this lens adapter does not allow for infinity focus on Canon EOS cameras when paired with an M39 "ranger finder" lens. Use only with lenses that have the same flange distance as L39 lenses.
