The reason I bought this mat was because I figured I could cut it into two pieces for two different small litterboxes - and I was right!! These can be easily cut to size and I'm satisfied with how well they work for such a simple design.

I bought this because it allowed me to cut it to size. It fit well, and it was still in good shape. However, after a week or too, my cats clawed it to an unusable state. It's great, if your cats aren't the destructive type.

I actually prefer silicone for litter mats because it’s easier to clean. However, I bought this to cut up and line the platforms of my cat tree because my cats were slipping on the wood/plastic and falling. This was perfect for that, and I love that it’s easy to cut, no fraying afterwards. Very soft, and provides the perfect anti-slip protection my kitties need.

I have tried several products to keep the litter from being dragged out of the box all over the floor. This is the only product I’ve had success with. I also like that I was able to cut out pieces for an odd sized litter box entrance. I would definitely recommend

En verdad es grande! Creí que iba a ser más pequeño pero la verdad el tamaño está súper bien (sobre todo por el precio). El material es bueno también, tiene plástico en la parte de abajo para que no se pasen las piedritas que caen del arenero. Es fácil de limpiar y se ve bien. Al principio mi gatita lo brincaba al salirse del arenero pero después se acostumbró y ya lo pisa normal. Recomendado! :)

The short story is that this mat traps the litter in the channels, is comfortable for both people and pets to walk on, and despite being thin it DOES keep your feet from stepping in the litter scatter as long as you shake it off once per week. It's the best I've ever tried for keeping the scatter to a minimum and allowing humans to step on it without picking up any of the litter on their bare feet.The long story is...I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes. I use World's Best multi cat litter in both boxes.I've gone through a bunch of litter mats trying to find one that would reduce the scatter of litter. I even bought one of the fancy ones that you're supposed to be able to pop open and poor the litter out of, but it was a nightmare to clean all those holes of the litter dust or if a cat ever missed the box. It was also uncomfortable to walk on, and the "easy pop open" never opened fully, leading me to have to stick my arm into the pocket to pop it open. Yuck! THIS mat is fantastic, though.The cats don't mind walking on it, so the litter comes off their paws as they walk on it instead of them trying to jump over it. I was surprised at how well the mat traps the litter in the grooves too, so when I step on he mat with bare feet it prevents my feet from picking up all the scattered litter. The comfort and ability to walk on it were both SUPER important, because the litter box is in front of our shower.I won't lie, litter DOES still scatter a bit, but I'm sweeping every 2 days now instead of 2 or 3 times per day that I was doing with other mats.Because of the grooves trapping litter you DO have to shake it very well to get it all out. I shake it out once weekly to prevent the buildup going over the grooves. I haven't had to wash it yet, but it looks and feels like it would be super easy to hose it off in a shower or with a garden hose.

Product works as advertised. Litter is contained better. What did not work were the creases from the folds never went away and the mat didn't sit flat on the floor. Second is the price. This is quite expensive. Dollarama sells a rolled up version of this mat. It's smaller, but only costs $4. Seeing how these mats needs to be replaced every so often, much more economical to go the Dollarama route.

Le pongo 4 estrellas porque tuve que solicitar cambio. El primero que me enviaron estaba super maltratado y roto de los dobleces, pero en cuanto solicite la devolución el proveedor me envió uno nuevo y ya solo tuve que enviar el otro. De uso es super práctico. Al principio mi gato no quería pisar sobre el y ahora hasta se acurruca ahí (que loco). Colecta bien la arena que se llega a salir porque mi gato se aloca y la saca de la caja y la que tiene en sus patas también. Aunque parece que esta hueco, tiene una capa transparente atrás que evita que la arena se cuele, así puedes regresarla a la caja. Amo que se lava super fácil con un cepillo y aparte de que se seca rápido. Si la recomiendo, la verdad :)

This works like a dream! I have two cat litter boxes that I place side by side, and I had them on carpet so you can only imagine the mess... well, this mat was long enough to fit in front of both of them and help cut down the tracking significantly. It's also really water resistant. My cat has on a cone and she accidentally missed the litterbox when she tinkled and this held it off the floor until I saw it. Not a single drop on the floor underneath it. It's also extremely easy to clean and it doesn't hold on to odors.Would definitely recommend

This is my second one of these Fresh Kitty mats. Kind of wished I could find the same pattern as my first one, but no matter... it works very well in minimizing the amount of litter that gets away from the litterbox. Easy to clean too!Update and dropping to a 4 due to packaging!!!It actually is written on the back, that it may be washed in a washer. I set my washer to bulky items so as to minimize churning action... The spin cycle literally drys most of it... Then I toss in in the dryer for a low heat cool down cycle and it's all set to use again.I wish I read the instructions before as I tossed out 4 of them before, after cats having peed on it and it was difficult to clean out the pee as it's a sponge like foam!My other peeve with this product is the packaging with those plastic ties like socks are packed with that plastic string through the socks... Well, socks is ok, but poking a hole through a pad is utterly ridiculous as now, the pee goes through the hole and onto the floor!!! Defeats the purpose of the solid plastic backing. So either block the pin holes made from packaging or lay down paper towels under the mat and or just hope cat doesn't pee on it instead of in the litter box!
