Plastic hopper is not the easiest thing to work with, has a tendency to try to come apart. The airline feed coupler should of been either placed in better location away from sensor, or a swivel unit instead. the assembly is a pain for those with medium to large hands. not easy to get at parts. the cylinder to let the next can drop has come loose a few times even with the lock washer. got to be careful, as I don't see anyway to order replacement parts. Watch carefully to make sure each can ejects or it will jam. Overall I so far after 2 uses, woud rate it at between 3.5 to 4. Undecided yet. Assembly and quality of hopper was dissapointing.

First, I would like to say this thing took well over an hour to put together. Make sure all parts are there before starting!!! Directions were pretty straight forward if you are mechanically inclined. Some parts were missing and had extras of others.Pros: the crusher part itself seems pretty durable. It smashes the cans down to about 3/4-1”.Cons: Difficult for the average person to put together. The control box has a mind of its own, it will randomly crush when nothing is there. Sometimes takes 3-4 pushes of the button to start. The plastic “cage” is very easy to break and the hopper is a pain to put together. It also randomly falls apart. The plastic “pushers” on the small air cylinders randomly fall off. Had to search through all the cans to find a 7mm nut. Plastic piece fell into the crusher and broke. This thing will NOT auto feed any cans with the slightest dent. No safety shut off in the event of a jam.Other: On a 30 gallon air compressor, I can smash 35-40 cans before the compressor would kick in. Tried it on my Ridgid 6 gallon and it could not keep up whatsoever. Would kick the compressor on every 4-5 cans, and would have to wait 3 minutes until I could crush another 4-5 cans. Don’t let the pictures fool you thinking a 6-15 gallon air compressor will keep up if you have a lot of cans. (We crush for our family members and friends and do hundreds a month)Honesty, for the extra hundred bucks, the auto feeder is not worth the money. I will be returning this and be getting a manual feed one with the push button. Also, you can not buy replacement parts, nor does the manufacturer provide them. If a part breaks, you just buy a new one, or if you are under the return window, Amazon will ship you a new one and you spend an hour disassembling the old one to send it back.

Not happy with it. It quit working. The electrical box keeps shutting off and it keeps staying engaged in the crush position.

Works amazingly well if all cans are undamaged in any way. Found it easier to remove the rack and drop cans in one at a time to prevent clogging of the feed rack. Does a good job of crushing the cans but about 20% tend to get stuck in the drop slot if irregularly crushed.

My husband and son love their new toy. My son even likes to smash cans now. Only thing is wish it wasn't plastic where the cans are held, but otherwise a great purchase.

It says fully automatic and you see the plug in the picture...So it looks like a plug and play but it's not, you actually need an air compressor tank to run this device. Also the directions are not easy to understand on were the parts are to put this together. What do you do when it says fully automatic and you see a plug in the picture and come to find out you need an air tank.In my case I had one, but what do you do when someone doesn't have one??I think you all need to update your ad and says it runs off an air compressor and the plug in part is to control the sensors and feed rate.
