Real Jin Xuan Oolong Tea
You can rest assured that our jin xuan milk oolong is from the Jin Xuan cultivars grown in Taiwan, real milk oolong is a natural Taiwan original, and has never been add any milk additive, so it has a light and soft milk flavor.
Tea soup & Taste
Its pale-yellow infusion is light, delicate and silky smooth. While the milky fragrance takes center stage in the first infusion, the liquor and flavor become more prominent in subsequent infusions.
Just 3-5 minutes and you have a great tonic drink for the whole family.
You can brew loose oolong tea leaves using teapot with strainer if you make the drink for a few family members.
It is beautiful to watch the rolling oolong milk tea unfurl into nice whole leaves while steeping in the pot. Importantly, milk oolong tea can be brewed up to 3 times.
How to brew milk oolong tea?
Warm up the tea pot with boiling water, put about 1-2 Tsp milk oolong tea, pour small amount of boiling water into the tea and immediately pour out. This helps to damp tea leaves, wash and help them to start steeping.
After that pour 8 fl.oz of boiling water that about 85-95°C (185-205°F) and cover tea pot for 3-5 minutes before serving.

Does not taste like oolong milk tea. Strong taste but more like a roasted tea. No “milk” taste like other oolong milk teas. Would not buy again.

At least it has a flavor, so many times I've bought really expensive Chinese green teas only to find colored water in my cup. This one has a bold flavor (I use quite a bit per cup), but I'm not sure I like it. There's kind of a toasted grain flavor or something, maybe that's down to this "milk tea" thing. I find myself screwing up my face, like, what is that? It's not unpleasant or anything, and I think I'll probably get used to it, it just kind of surprised me, not what I was expecting.

I like this Oolong tea, including its flavor, taste and scent. If the price goes down reasonably, it will be more popular.

I purchased this tea a few months ago and it was outstanding for the price. The past few batches have much less aroma and flavor and I would not suggest buying it. I brew it Gong-fu style in Yixing teapots as is done in Taiwan. (I've lived there twice and been brewing tea for almost two decades.)

I think milk oolong is a hit or miss for most people. So if you're trying it out for the first time, I recommend trying a cup at a tea shop before purchasing. I tried milk oolong at a specialty tea store last year and really enjoyed it though I didn't want to get any for myself until now. This milk oolong has a more buttery scent with a good leafy taste. I do think the scent is very noticable but according to the seller it has no additives or flavoring so you're getting a real milk oolong. The tea came in vacuum sealed packaging exactly as pictured. Would recommend the tea for anyone who has tried it and likes a more buttery aroma.
