Compared with many similar products available, these boot covers (or retro spats) are a good value. I purchased pairs in both black and brown. One pair needed a little "restoration" -- the glue used to adhere the inner to the outer layer of the item had crept over the top edge in a couple of places, but this could be easily minimized. The exterior of the covers has a nice brushed leather texture and the snaps (which look bright silver in the photos) are actually a more appropriate antiqued pewter color.

So, they fit well over my size 10.5 US shoes, but to me they gave off a vibe that reminded me of horse hooves. I ended up not wearing them because of this.

These are NOT as pictured. The belts are NOT in the right place, so they stick out and interfere with walking. The items in the pictures would be great. The items I received are useless trash. DO NOT BUY THESE.

FURPHI's boot covers are a versatile addition to a cosplay closet, able to slot equally well into steampunk, renaissance, and pirate-themed outfits.You want to wear these with shows with a raised heel, because otherwise you will be walking on - and very quickly wearing out - the securing strap. I also recommend matching black to black or brown to brown rather than trying to contrast.I wear a US men's size 13, and while these are on the smaller side for me, they still fit.All that being said, I think they're a hair overpriced. You are definitely getting costume-quality material here, and I would have liked to see them about $3 lower.
