I liked installing this cable so much, I did it twice! The first time, I installed the connectors on the wrong ends, but once I fixed that, it worked perfectly. It’s a reliable cable that does exactly what it’s supposed to. What more can I say? Highly recommended for your NMEA 2000 setup!

Was in the middle of a new install, and did not have the cable. Ordered the cable it was here in very fast time frame and helped me complete the project on the weekend.

Cable is fine, but the description is incorrect. This is a male-female cable, one that would go from a NMEA 2000 network backbone T-connector to a device, like a chart plotter or other instrument display. It's apparent in the picture, as the female end has a protective cap, the male end does not.
