It’s a good air pump, but it’s just as loud as any other I’ve ever had. The higher you turn it up the louder it gets, and at the highest setting you can hear it from other rooms. Also, plan on buying your own tubing. The tubing they ship with the pump is really short, and has kinks in several places. Also buy your own airstone- the included one is junk.

I was having issues with other pumps to push air up from about 3 feet below a 78 gallon vertical tank to a bubble curtain at the bottom this pump easily can handle almost too good.

I’m using two of these, one in a 10 gallon and one in a 20 gallon tank. They work great, and are relatively quiet. Highly recommend!
