We saw these in Italy while at several vineyards. Great for tastings, but they only pour a few ounces so it’s not ideal for standard pours. Certainly a good conversation piece.

Had seen one used in a top restaurant in Italy and searched to buy in U.K. S far as I can see this is exactly the same as the Italian brand but considerably cheaper

This is truly a beautiful piece! I just pulled it out of the box a few minutes ago. I have been looking at different wine aerators and this one caught my eye, and for sure it looks great. I have been looking forward to use it and have my friends admire it. Althought it may look fragile, the glass looks and feels thick and seems like it won't break easily.UNFORTUNATELY, the wooden cap that attaches on the wine bottle came cracked, and that is a real bummer! This seems like an important part, since it is the only place I can use to push the cap onto the wine bottle. I am not sure if it is possible to fix it, and sending it back would be a hassle. So, even when I like it how the glass looks and feels, I am not giving it a 5 star and would not recommend buying it until this has been fixed. It could be unsafe. The wooden cap seems like it will break off after a few uses :(. Hopefully the seller reads this review and fixes the problem that makes the caps crack. I will update this review after a few uses.

It's unusal shaped wine aerator which is fantastic for red wines. Great it airs the wine and then you pour from the chamber its held in. Defintiely helps with the wine flavours/ smells. Great price and product.

So I saw this used at a friend's house before and bought one. Well my own fault, tried to make sure it wasn't going to leak, I pushed more firmly down, but in my stupidity I pushed down on the glass. Ended up shattering the little angle and creating a half inch or so hole in the webbing of my index and middle finger. Currently at the ER having to get stitches. Not at home enjoying the 2017 Napa Valley petit Verdot. The advice to others, buy it, but when setting this in the bottle, push on the wooden nub going into the bottle. NOT THE GLASS! lol. I get a laugh out of this but seriously, be very cautious.

Beautiful package and presentation. However the fit in the bottle appeared to be ok, but as the wine went into the receptacle, it dislodged from the bottle and fell onto my kitchen counter breaking and spilling the wine all over the counter and the kitchen floor . This happened two hours after a prompt delivery from Amazon. Very disappointed with the product as apparently it does NOT fit all wine bottles snuggly enough to support the weigh of the liquid.Did not get to enjoy my purchase as expected.I do not know if the company will send a new one or if I just got a lemon purchase today. I can not recommend this item and will actually advise the company to disclose in detail the possibility of an improper fit. Otherwise it is not an easy and elegant job as it seems you will have to hold the bottle and the receptacle at the same time to ensure it is not going to dislodge from the bottle neck. I woul request a full refund or a replacement at no charge.

I first saw/used this in Italy. EVERY restaurant, wine shop, any place that served wine- used this type of device.It does make a difference- did a taste test. Won’t turn a $6 bottle into a $60 bottle, but certainly improves the flavor.Liked so much, bought extras, which I give as gifts. Very well received. There are a number of makers. It is thin hand blown glass, be careful. Insert and remove holding the base, NOT the glass. (Why it got only 4 stars for “use”)Easy to clean. Run under faucet.
