Pretty straight forward.It is pretty much intuitive.Its measures pretty accurate, give or take to .001 mmIt is compact and portable.I like it, its a cool measuring device, and for its cost pretty reasonable.The controls are a bit confusing at first but with in 2-3 mins it becomes as stated before' intuitive'.The ability to measure great distances with out having to take up space in the tool bag is really nice.Definitely would get another if necessary!

Handy instrument with a remarkable range. To use at distances more than 100' it helps to have an assistant holding a white reflector to aim at. I measured my garden plot to calculate the amount of soil I needed to fill a raised bed. After some study of the tiny print in the manual, it worked out fine.The unit is small enough to fit in a pocket and has a loop to attach a wrist strap.As almost all modern products, the manual is printed without sufficient contrast and with too small of a font. The quality of the information is good but one needs a magnifying glass to read it.

I'm very pleased with my new laser measure. It's smaller than I expected which is a plus. It comes with batteries and a "large enough to read" manual. I am using it as if it were a regular measuring tape. I do not understand the advanced math features but I wouldn't know what to do with that anyway. Being able to measure the length of an item or the square footage of a wall without the walking back and forth and up and down a ladder make this device a winner with me. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am.

Brilliant little item! This is super easy to carry around in your pocket, and is especially good if you need to measure long distances. I will say that according to the instructions, it is accurate to +/- 2mm, so if you need a higher accuracy, you might want to consider something else, but at this price I don't think you could do much better. This was a great buy.

I purchased this for simple measuring and this device is much more complex than what I need but I like my gadgets. To be accurate within three decimal places is kind of ridiculous but that's what this does. Here's the problem: The device is fairly complex so good luck in trying to figure out what each button does. It's certainly not laid out intuitively to be user friendly and instructions are terrible. I believe it will take quite a bit of trial and error so get the hang of this thing but it's a nice laser measuring device with two level indicators on it. And for measuring distance up to 300 ft is quite impressive. I can point it at my neighbor's houses and see how close they are to me as a novelty.In conclusion if you have the patience to figure out the instructions and the buttons, this measuring device does it all. I'm giving it a four star rating due to the bad instructions and being difficult to figure out by trial and error.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this! It's so much easier to use than a traditional tape measure, especially for larger areas. It is very user friendly. The buttons/selections are intuitive. It is compact and very durable. The display is easy to read. Overall, I love it!
