Works great! Sticks tightly to the metal shelving in my garage and perfect for holding often-used metal tools like screwdrivers, scissors, small pliers, etc. Makes them easily to grab quickly and keeps things organized so I'm not always digging through my toolbox.

I was looking for a way to store metal firearm magazines without them taking up usable shelf or floor space or having to drill holes for screw mount. This strip is magnetic on both sides so one side can attach to a wall in my storage unit. The other side is also magnetic and is used to hang firearm magazines on. It works great and is more cost effective than units specifically made for firearms. My magazines are out of the way and easy to retrieve.

Great for organizing tools in the shop. The front has 4 strips of magnets. The back has 2. I flip them so there is more strength holding the entire strip up after I made the mistake of dropping one and it cracked.

The picture has two holes that led me to believe that it could be fastened to the wall behind my work bench. Since the magnets have what looks like mounting holes you can’t drill through them because the drill hole hits the magnet inside. These are made to stick onto a metal surface.

I was a little nervous buying this after looking at some of the reviews. I have little children and didn’t want this falling around them, but I’m also renting and didn’t want to drill holes in the tiled wall. I’m glad I bought it! It works great! I followed what other people suggested and put the 4 strip side on the fridge and used the 3 strip side to hold the knives. I have 4 knives and a pair of kitchen shears on it with no problem or wiggling. One reviewer mentioned it was very difficult to pull the knives back off, but I didn’t have that issue with mine. I previously used a wall mounted one from IKEA, and it feels similar to that. Just enough pull so you don’t feel like you can knock the knives off by accident, but not so hard you feel like you need both hands to pull them off.

Holds firm to surface or holds tools.. not both. Fine for crescent wrenches or screwdrivers, but not really strong enough for hammers, socket wrenches, etc. The issue is that there is a "strong side" and a "weak side" ... If you use the strong side for holding tools and the weak side to mount to a walltool chestetc... The magnet will just slide down.

I received a new knife set for Christmas and have stainless steel tiles behind my stove. I looked specifically for a magnetic knife holder that had magnets on both sides. I read many of the reviews before purchasing this one so I was prepared for some of the pitfalls. You need to put the side with more magnets on the surface and use the side with less magnets for the knives. That way you get a strong hold for both and it won't come off the surface while trying to pull off your knife. As for the name stamp, I just put a knife over it and it doesn't show. It seems to hold the knives well and we've had no issues since using it this way. Also, the knives we got are a fairly nice set but not professional knives if that makes any difference.

Very pool quality, and no hardware, got one from Princess Auto has stronger magnetic. Return it right away. Give it one star, because it's refundable.

I was looking for something to hold knives on the side of my refrigerator. This works perfectly! I bought two which hold a total of 12 knives. The holders stick so tightly to the refrigerator it's difficult to re-position them. The reverse sides don't stick as tightly so knives can be easily taken on and off and the heaviest chefs knife holds tightly.

Excellent holding power. There are 4 magnet rails protruding on one side and 2 rails on the other side. I use them at work and mount them to the side of tool carts and hoists to hold various tools without the annoyance of tools falling to the floor. 2 of them side by side work really good to hold screwdrivers, picks, etc in your toolbox too. The magnet is extremely strong on the back side and has no issue attaching through your drawer liners in your box. To the point of it being difficult to pull it back up. Thats the good.Here's my gripe with them. There is a "made in china" molded into the bar. The made in china is noticeable on the side with the 2 magnetic rails protruding. And thats the side you will want facing up. Basically just a cosmetic design flaw considering most ppl dont consider "made in china" something to showcase. Also the magnet rails do not run the full length of the bar, leaving a small gap in the middle. Does not really affect holding power but I think they would work better holding small items in the middle if full length. Either way these are good quality and very handy. Id give 3.5 - 4 stars
