This unit can be used to replace fan and exhaust cover on the 663L Exhaust Box. That’s mounted in the ceiling. You’ll have to use the 663L light canister and rotate it differently than it was in the 663L.tighten down with wing nut and you’re done. Works perfect. Cheaper than buying 663L replacement parts if you can find them. But the fan fits perfect. Works great just loud enough to hear it. . Exhaust cover fits perfect over where the old 663L cover was. No painting needed.

The motor burnt out in our last unit. This one looked exactly the same, so I pulled the trigger. Don't be lazy like me. Pull the cover down and take measurements to compare. The housing/metal part did not match mine. Luckily, the bolt holes on the motor are standard. I was able to swap out the motor into my old bracket, and still use the new light fixture and covers. The motor noise level is perfect for us, runs smoothly and pulls enough air for our smaller sized bathroom. I'm definitely happy with this product.

The fan is just a poorly designed unit. It produces lots of noise, little outflow of air, small cover plate. After a couple of years of "suffering" I've replaced it with Panasonic. Yes, I'm paying more but its so well worth it. Being cheap is not an option here.
