Surely does scare the deer awayButRequires constant vigilanceWater hose must be onStake must be secure in place, direction and height (mine tends to wobble)One must remember to TURN IT BACK ON when finished gardeningIndiscriminate spraying (cars, people)I do appreciate the ability to direct the motion sensor and water spray exactly where you want. All of my complaints are to be expected.Product works as fine. As described. Just sharing part of my gardening experience. I bought 2 for my long garden bed going down the driveway. Was able to share same hose with both. Goes to 1st one, which works and allows a second shorter hose to connect to the 2nd one. If one is triggered they both spray, which I like.I recommend these as being the most effective deer repellent I have tried, short of a chain link bubble.

I purchased this unit to keep my chicken off of my front deck. It did take a little time to positioning and sensitive set up, but once I got it up and running, it worked exactly as I had hoped. Since installation, it has worked with no more adjustments or changes required.

I got this after $30,000 of koi eaten by a blue heron kept visiting my pond ate all my very expensive koi. I was so upset and devastated and vowed Id never get another fish until I knew I could keep the last few remaining ones I had safe from that danm bird. so I ordered this and i actually has been great at detecting motion and keeping that vile bird away from my babies! It works great, the only thing I would add is that you do have to keep a hose connected to it so do not get this if that will be a problem for you. I wish it maybe had an attachment that it could spray from a reservoir tank or maybe from the pond itself and that would make it unbeatable but a very small price to pay in my opinion to keep my fish babies safe. and to boot its a fair price. Oh one last thing to note it did make my water bill go up a few dollars but that should be a given because duh you'll be using more water. Oh funny note, it scared the absolute crap out of my poor doggo (because the motion sensor is pretty wide, my pond is about 5 or 6 feet wide and 12 foot in length and it catches motion all in and around my pond) and she got the idea pretty quickly not to go in that general direction anymore but it in no way hurts them, its just a strong blast of water maybe a little less then a power washer and slightly more then the strong setting on a hose.

Doesn’t rotate any longer after about 2 weeks of having it. Sensor isn’t very sensitive anymore. Tried raising a query back through Amazon and received no response. All in all, a bad purchase!

I have ordered three of these Enforcer's in the last two months and they work great but the third one I ordered was not as sturdy. The stake that you push into the ground to use it was made out of steel and powdered coated on the first two. The third one was changed to plastic. The dial was also changed on the third one I ordered and was not as obvious as to its functions. Overall, it does work and gets the job done but I wonder how long the plastic stake will hold up.

It is quite well built, but the sensor is not working as it should. If you approach it from directly in front it does not detect you. If you approach it from extreme either side it works OK. Terrible blind spot in the center. If they are all like that I wouldn't buy another one. Maybe I got a dud sensor?

The sensor on this is crap, it works only within a couple of feet for a full sized adult. And when it did go on it stayed on. i tried all the sensor and distance settings but still didn't work.It looks the part but sadly it's cheaply made junk.

I bought my first one of these over three years ago. It has been very effective at scaring deer away from shrubs and a partially fenced garden. It has a 3-year warranty. At some point I used that on my first unit to replace a part. Now, I am buying another one because the first one is leaking and it is more than 3-years old. You may need more than one if animals can approach the plants you need to protect from more area than can be covered by a single motion sensor.UPDATE: this quit working after 13 months. I contacted customer support and they said they would call me back in 30-60 min. i received a text from them about 15 hours later asking if I had checked to see if the solenoid was faulty. Over the course of a text conversation that took 15-20 min for each reply from them, I told them I did not know how to do that, just please send me a new unit. I don't know what will happen, but the customer service is really bad. I can no longer recommend this product.

I have had the sprinkler for 2.5 months and I am very happy with it. I was apprehensive about this unit b/c in my experience motion sensors are notoriously unreliable -- mostly just not activating upon motion. But the motion sensor on this unit works correctly! It activates the sprinkler whenever there is motion, as far away as about 50 ft. It actually triggers beyond the range of the sprinkler (in my setup -- this presumably varies with the users water pressure). I installed it to protect a strawberry bed that is 30 ft long. The sprinkler reaches about 26 feet. I set it to spray without any rotation on the stream. You can also set it to rotate within a given arc. I am able to easily turn it off if I'm working in the area. The construction is good quality and it was simple to set up (about 5 minutes). I set the sensor to most sensitive and the water stream to highest distance. My only complaint would be the range on the sprinkler, as others have listed, but this might be a function of my water pressure. The days before I installed the sprinkler I noticed that deer had started to eat at the strawberry plants. Since I've installed it I have not had another bite taken from my plants. The deer decimated my previous batch of strawberry plants so I am very happy to have this protection. Note: I have had a bear get into my trash, which is a few feet beyond the range of the sprinkler, so the noise of the sprinkler does not seem to deter bears.

Great piece of kit. I was plagued with badgers ripping up the lawn and cats in the garden. Had the orbit enforcer for about three months and no more badgers or cats. It has great battery life (not changed them yet) It needs a male hose fitting but if you take it down to your local garden centre you can find the right one. Well please with this product.
