I have one of these for my garage at home and it's worked great. Installed one in me other garage six months ago. The display looks like the photo and it eats batteries in a week. I'll have to order another one and hopefully it'll last longer then this one.

This product will work great in any common heating application but, unlike others on the market, is also great for vacant properties, garages and out-buildings because it allows for lower temperature setting (sub 4.5C/40F). So if you want to save energy and $$$ for garages and out-buildings, don't want a constantly wet garage floor, accelerated vehicle rusting, fuel tank condensate (main cause of frozen fuel lines), frozen door seals this is the thermostat to get!!

Superb thermostat it's a rare one, its digital and goes down to 20° and has a differential you can calibrate.

Works fantastic for the garage, had a 35 degree and would come in it would read LO and the furnace would not come on, put this one in and one day it read 21 and worked perfect, then one very cold day i came in and it read LO, I though here we go again, I turned it to on it fired up the stove and worked great, get one best price I found was here on Amazon, eBay is $70,

I'm not sure why this isn't easier to find. I bought one 3 years ago and regrettably left it in the house we sold. Searched high and low to figure out what stat I had purchased. Anyways the good part. It goes below freezing 20 degrees F I believe so if you want to temper a garage you don't use everyday or just keep it from being -20 in there you can. So people say heaters aren't designed for it, I've had no problems with a gas hanging furnace. It doesn't have any feature other than up and down which could be improved on but it does what I need and no other stat does. Even some of the "garage" stats won't go below 35. If this had wifi so you could turn it up from in the house it would be golden. Great product everyone should skip the Honeywell and go with this!

Great for the garage or shop where you want to keep a temp lower then 15. Easy operation and a dedicated fan only switch. Good build quality. Well made for the money.

I have this running my propane garage heater for the past two weeks. I had a Honeywell thermostat in place but it could not turn the fan only function on & off. The low set point on the Honeywell was 35*F, this T771 has a low set point of 25*F which will allow me to keep the garage a degree or two above freezing. The display has larger digits so it is easier to read from a distance.Now after two years this thermostat has worked to perfection. I would recommend this to anyone.

I was looking for a manual thermostat that went down to 34 degrees but didn't have much luck finding one. I have only used this one for about three weeks and it Seems to be working fine so far. We will see if the batteries hold up in the colder weather.
