I think amazon is doing this., sending a defective product just to cater the needs of it consumers. I recently buy an item that cost $750, and when i received the item, the item is not box by a regular amazon box but by the item's box alone and the box is not sealed its like somebody unbox it already for me. It's very frustrating and the worst is, when i tried the item it is defective. It's a very hussle when you only want in the first place is to buy good, working defent product. Kinda traumaticing. This is the 2nd time around that amazon did this to me. New modus of amazon, sent thier returned and defective products just to push sales.

Admittedly, I've got a high-end pro audio system, but when you compare this mic side by side with just about ANY other mic, you can HEAR the difference immediately, even with the naked ear. Take the guesswork out of any vocals, male/female, studio/stage. The SHURE KSM9 will give you results as soon as you plug it in!

It's a good microphone but I don't think we've been able to make sound better than the Neumann K105.

I bought this for my girlfriend who is a professional musician. Prior to using this microphone she used several lower level including a Shure SM58. As she performs in various venues using various sounds systems provided by the property there are ever-changing conditions so having a good quality microphone that isolates her voice is very important. She loves it and audience members note a significant improvement in clarity of her voice.She also reports that the microphone is more relaxing for her to use when singing very high notes and also lower keys which in the past have been difficult for her to reproduce through other microphones.
