Decent flavor at times. Sometimes had a soapy flavor.

Obsessed with their brand and oolong milk tea in general.

This is really great tea. Besides having a milky, creamy kind of flavor, it's also kind of fruity and floral. It's certainly not a one-note tea.The bag says each tea bag is good for 1–2 cups, and I was skeptical, but it's true. You could probably even eke out a third cup. The quality and value seems good to me, and the tea is very enjoyable. Great find! Very satisfied.

This is a really nice, interesting tea. I love oolong tea, but never heard of milk oolong tea. It does not have actual milk in it, and the actual tea comes out to be light amber. Does not look like a tea with milk in it. And yet, it has some sweet, milky flavor, which was really nice. I enjoy this tea a lot.

I have ordered a couple of teas from Cushla and got a couple free samples including this bag. I am on a exploration of tea and trying as many as I can find. This one seemed unique but not on my most wanted to try list by any means. I was wrong, this is wonderful tea. Opening the bag released a wonderful aroma that seemed rich and mysterious and hard to place for me. I loved the small pearls in the little satchels, it is amazing how they unfurl and expand during the steeping.Taste Profile: I'm still a little beguiled by the taste of this tea. It does have a sweet lactose sugar like creaminess that I can see why it is called a milk tea. The full body creaminess of the liquor also says milk loudly. There are some vegetal tea hints, no bitterness and a wonderful sweet and solid aftertaste.Aroma Profile: Here I am still working out this complex scent. There is a strong sweetness for it which off the bat says chocolatey to me but that is not right. It is a sweet, warm, and full aroma. Actually quite wonderful, I'll update if I can figure it out.The tea itself is mild and weakly yellow, belieing the taste and complexity. The first cup I steeped was in a darkish cup and it looked almost unsteeped.I can't say too much about this tea, it was a wonderful surprise and it definitely on my reorder and share list.

Interesting bags, for starters. The mesh has a sheen to it, like a synthetic material. I hope that the mesh is silk, bamboo, or some other natural material, since I toss used tea bags into my mulch heap.I'm watching those little rolled up tea leaves unfurl in my cup. Cool. There are a considerable number of tea leaves in the bag, contrary to first appearance!!I don't believe I've ever smelled a tea quite like this. Sorry, I lack the words to describe the smell. There is some kind of "spice" smell underlying the "tea" smell. Perhaps this is where the "milk" part of "milk oolong" comes from? After a few minutes of thought, I think this smell belongs in the middle of a sun baked, summer time forest. Kick up the leaves, and you'll get something like this aroma wafting up from the forest floor. This is not a dark tea - it's been steeping for about two minutes at this point, and the water in the cup is very translucent. The flavor is surprisingly strong after about 3 1/2 minutes of steeping. Despite the translucency, the tea has body to it! The scent and flavor together does give it a milky or buttery flavor. This is quite satisfying, even for a confirmed coffee drinker. I will note that I've added nothing, I'm drinking it unsweetened. It would be good with a bit of honey, I think, but it's fine without. I'm giving it five stars - I'll be ordering this again!

This tea has an interesting buttery/vegetal taste, with no bitterness or tannins (as long as you don't brew it too hot). The infusion is a pale yellow. The tea bags start out looking almost empty, but the leaves expand an impressive amount during brewing.Oolong is an edge case with tea, and this is definitely an oolong. I suspect some people will really like it, and others not so much.

A creamy oolong with no added milk powder. This tea comes in fine mesh bags with attached strings that could be a tad long to wrap around a mug handle. I was expected additional milk powder with the loose tea in the bag, but that was not the case. The tea comes in a resealable bag to preserve freshness.
