Didnt inspect pots when I fist got them. Just replaced them and after getting everying done and cleaned up I found out one pot was broken... pretty disappointing.

Like most manufacturers, CTS makes a variety of product lines, some higher and some lower in quality. Many of the CTS pots you find being sold are genuine CTS, but from one of the lower quality lines.These are high-quality pots, perfectly sized for an LP and with all the ancillary mounting hardware you expect for a guitar pot.

The best pots I've used , glad I found them. These Pots made a tremendous difference in my SG guitar kit. These will go in every build I do for sure. They are large, they are easy to solder, they are accurate for tone/ vol swells. I build guitars and lap steels, I make guitars from junk and farm tools. These will be in all my new builds and I'll go back and replace some of of the others with lesser quality pots as well. I got so much better control and tone now. update: I bought them again. this time put them in a cheap 1st act along with some p90s, what a great combination! Oh my gosh! These are the best pots you can get! I'll get more for my next project for sure.

The title of this item made me think that there would be 2 pots that were Audio taper and 2 pots Linear taper. As it says 2 Vol and 2 Tone. That is not the case, all 4 are Audio taper. They are 24 tooth, which means many knobs will not fit it without modification. That is stated in the ad, but if you missed that, you should want to know. Smooth travel, no issues as to function.

work very well for my guitar kit project. Was a semi hollow project and these pots were too big to fit in the F hole. Almost threw the damn thing away. But then busted out the saws all. Again, these work well and would get again

I measured the ohms on all 4 pots and they were within the claimed measurements. They turn easily with a very slight amount of resistance. So far, I have only used/installed 2 of the 4 that I bought. I don’t know all that much about pots. These work just fine.

I was able to install these pots in my Gibson SG without issue. They sound great and I would buy again.

These are great. Easy to solder, smooth turning, fit gibson knobs perfectly, and measure very close to stated resistance. What more could you want? If you're building a partscaster and thinking of buying the pots sold by that company with the turtle logo, don't bother with those - these are superior in every way.
