I needed to replace the guts and solenoid in my sprinkler system valve, and this worked perfect. I just needed the top with solenoid and the guts, and this was a better value than buying the replacement parts separately. Works perfectly.

I bought this valve replace a Toro screw top the valve that the dish valve pretends to be. The ability for this valve to replace the existing valve does not exist. The internal parts of the valves are different, you can’t take the top part and put it in the old valve.

Toro is very dependable. I actually need to change all my other valves over to this. It was shipped quick and on time. I'm happy.

The 8 yr old valve had started to allow a little water to flow in the off position. I purchased a new one, and replaced just the guts. It was easy and is working great now.

Our home in Albuquerque's north valley has about a half-acre of landscaped area -- much of which is shrubs in beds with bark ships or colorful ornamental rock gravel. Watering these beds manually is a real problem -- particularly since we like to travel. The shrub beds have drip systems in them, but my wife and I really wanted automatic watering. I built two systems around these Toro electric valves -- each controlled by an irrigation timer. Now we can travel without worrying about returning to "death in the garden." So far the valves -- some installed this year, some installed several years ago -- function flawlessly. Being able to turn the valves on manually by rotating the top is a great way to check at our convenience for clogged emitters and any other problems. As of now we have 17 of these valves in service, and I highly recommend them!

This valve was as I expected. The shipping was fair and fast. The design of this valve made repairing a malfunctioning old valve into a working valve by simply swapping out old parts with new, fast and easy.

I bought this because I thought it would be compatible with my 20 year old valve that was broken. Unfortunately, the top is made differently and I had to remove the entire old valve and put this one in. I did so and it works fine.
