These treads are great. The adhesive is strong but not strong enough to damage the wood underneath. They are an excellent value. The package contains 15 stair treads. Very comfortable.

They fit on the stairs nicely and the adhesion has been good thus far. It is comfortable to walk on and is of good quality and keeps us from slipping on the wood stairs. The color goes well with the color of the stairs.

These treads are a nice idea if they fit your needs. I got them to try for a while until we decide if we want to install a center carpet runner down the stairs to our somewhat remodeled basement.The color seems to match well to the stock photos. We have a good bit of light gray in our basement that go with the grayish brown flooring and step stain, but this color gray looks a bit off with our pallet (too dark maybe). It may have been better to go with the beige in this case which would match better with the walls.The silicone/semi-sticky backing is a nice touch. This makes the treads not a permanent addition but has enough tack to stay put and prevent you from slipping on the steps. I've removed and re-stuck a tread multiple times and it seems to hold up well. Just make sure your steps are clean first or else they will pick up everything. I did a quick vacuum and it wasn't quite enough. I recommend a quick wipe down with a damp cloth first. From there, a quick eye ball from back to front and something to ensure side to side is good (we used a folder paper as a gauge so we didn't have to mess with a ruler after the first step) and installation is a breeze.The thickness/comfort of the carpet isn't amazing but it seems durable enough. It feels like an indoor/outdoor carpet. You won't get the comforting feeling of a true runner with padding -- but it's nice enough for mild warmth and prevents the kids and dogs from slipping on the smooth steps.Overall, if you like the colors and are looking for a simple (and possibly temporary) solution like we were, this may be a good choice. At a fraction of the cost of installing an actual runner -- it's worth a try!

I recently purchased these stair treads for our wooden staircase, and I couldn't be happier! First off, they look fantastic, adding a touch of style and safety to our home. I used these on my wood basement stairs. They were easy to trim to make them fit my narrow stairs. Cut with regular house scissors. The backing is white and shows against the step so I colored the edges with a permanent sharpie. I would have liked them to be a little more sticky but so far they have not slipped or shifted. For the price and quality I think they are a good choice. I haven’t needed to wash them yet so don’t know how they will hold up after. This was a 10 pack and I have a spare so I’ll do my wash test on that one.
